Green Manufacturing: Technological Innovation Driving Low-Carbon TransformationNational-Level Green Factory ClusterShanghai Yichen's Hangu Base, Zhongwei Base, and Hengshui Base have all been recognized as national-level "Green Factories."
Since 2023, through "improving refined operations, reducing energy consumption, enhancing waste heat utilization, and adopting energy-efficient equipment or technologies," the bases have cumulatively reduced carbon emissions by 25,001 tons of CO₂ as of June 2025.
Reference the EU's Green Deal, adopting photovoltaic power generation, biomass steam boilers, etc. Changshan Base has built a rooftop PV power station, generating 1.4 million kWh in 2023 and 1.2 million kWh in 2024, with cumulative carbon reduction equivalent to approximately 1,400 tons of CO₂.
Full utilization of waste heat and pressure. Taking the Hangu Base as an example, 5 hydraulic turbines were installed from 2021 to 2024, reducing carbon emissions by 815 tons of CO₂/year. It is estimated that by 2030, the company's waste heat and pressure projects will collectively reduce emissions by 8,200 tons of CO₂/year.

Circular Economy: Full Lifecycle Material ManagementU-pack® Green SolutionsDevelop customized anti-aging additive combinations, extending material lifespan by over 30% and reducing raw material waste in customer production processes.
To date, serving 36 of the world's top 50 customers, helping downstream enterprises reduce their carbon footprint.
As of 2024, completed ISO 14067-2018 certification for 18 products, tracking and continuously managing product carbon footprints.
-
Social Responsibility: Global-Local Public Welfare NetworkShanghai Yichen "Future Materials Scientist" Education ProgramPartnering with Chinese universities such as Tianjin University, Sichuan University, and Lanzhou University to establish scholarships and laboratories, planning to support over 1,200 materials science students in green chemistry research within the next 5 years.
Global expansion, planning to co-establish a "Sustainable Materials Joint Laboratory" with local universities at the Malaysia base to cultivate technical talent in Southeast Asia.
-
People-Centric: Building an Employee Well-being Reaction ChainEmployee CareEmployee safety global benchmark. The company adheres to a people-oriented management philosophy that values both shareholder returns and employee care, creating a harmonious and warm working environment through regular communication and rich after-work activities.
Each base regularly conducts poverty assistance, parent-child activities, birthday parties, team-building excursions, and other activities.
Sustainable Development Goals
Reach peak carbon emissions by 2030 at the latest, and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045, through technological innovation, energy transition, and upstream-downstream cooperation, continuously promoting low-carbon development across the entire industry chain
