Shanghai Yichen Strategic Plan
Shanghai Yichen is a high-tech enterprise driven by independent R&D and a passion for continuous innovation. Committed to the sustainable development of chemical and biological technologies, we strive to build the Shanghai Yichen brand for generations to come. While deepening our presence in our core business, we actively pursue both organic and external growth in technology and product resources to accelerate business diversification.

Polymer Materials Anti-Aging Business
With over 30 years of dedicated focus, Shanghai Yichen has become one of the world's select few companies offering a full-spectrum product portfolio in the polymer materials anti-aging industry. Anti-aging additives are essential to unlocking the full performance potential of polymer materials. The real value of our anti-aging application technology is its ability to precisely address customer needs — helping materials perform at their best, resisting degradation, and extending service life. This not only conserves valuable resources but also provides an effective pathway to lower carbon emissions.

Personal Care Business
Aiqishi serves as the innovation engine of Shanghai Yichen, applying the science of material anti-aging to human anti-aging and emerging as a leading global supplier in UV protection. Our focus is on delivering high-performance UV filters, UV boosters, antioxidants, and active ingredient solutions to the personal care industry — making anti-aging technology work for a better quality of life.

Lubricant Additives Business
To fully capitalize on our R&D strengths and global marketing network, while expanding our industrial chain platform and advancing our goal of becoming a platform-based leader in fine chemicals, we have strategically acquired Jinzhou Kangtai — marking the launch of our second growth curve in the lubricant additives business. Jinzhou Kangtai is committed to the R&D, production, sales, and service of lubricant additives and is among China's most comprehensive suppliers in this field, with over 100 products in its portfolio. Its offerings include functional single additives and formulated compound additives. Single additives deliver specific performance properties — such as detergents, dispersants, antioxidants, anti-wear agents, and viscosity modifiers — while compound additives are tailored blends of multiple singles in precise ratios to meet the demands of various applications. Our products serve industries ranging from transportation and manufacturing to steel, healthcare, power generation, and precision electronics — making them the "liquid chip" of lubricants.

Life Sciences Business
While ensuring the stable operation and sustained growth of our polymer materials anti-aging business and lubricant additives business, the company has established the Life Sciences Division to explore new business areas and development directions. This initiative fully leverages our team's comprehensive strengths in fine chemical R&D, technology scale-up, and refined production management, as well as our well-established fine chemical technology platform and talent pool — marking the beginning of our third growth curve. The Life Sciences Division encompasses two industrial pillars: biological building blocks and synthetic biology. While each pillar operates independently, they are highly integrated in terms of business logic and industrial relevance. Both are national strategic emerging industries and represent cutting-edge fields at the global forefront.

New Materials Fields such as Polyimide (PI)
Building on the solid foundation of its three business curves, the company has continuously expanded its management capabilities in new businesses, real-economy operations, and global marketing since 2018, with a sustained focus on exploring "domestic substitution" and "bottleneck" technology sectors. In the past two years, the company has turned its attention to high-end electronic-grade polyimide (PI) materials — a critical "bottleneck" technology area in China. Following extensive in-depth research, the company acquired IPITECH INC., a South Korean company at the forefront of PI materials technology, in 2024. This strategic acquisition marks the company's entry into the electronic-grade PI materials business, extending its reach into the core material supply chains for flexible OLED displays, flexible printed circuits (FPC), chip packaging, new energy vehicles, and other advanced manufacturing sectors.
